DivX activation file never received during registration of my LG Hecto.

Morning,
I have just purchased a LG Hecto receiver. I believe this is a DivX certified device. I have found the registration number and registered the device. I think I saw, durfing this process that I would be sent an email. None has arrived. Is this because you do not work on the weekend.
I have downloaded the DivXinstaller.exe file on to a USB and loaded into the LG Hecto. The file is not recognised.
Am I doing something wrong or do I need another file. Will try to burn file to a CD and load onto the Hecto.

Hi Bill,
this is the address for to start registration process:
http://www.divx.com/en/dwam
After log in you can register your device.

For registration are required :

1) name of Device (use your fantasy)
2) "Divx VOD code" of device

For find out your "VOD Code" see the attachment, as example

After, you can download the registration video.
(With Firefox i have no problem to download video.) :-)

Only this video MUST BE load into device and watched. Not DIVXInstaller.exe

For hecto, VodCode are here : go to Settings -> Network -> Smart Share Setting -> DivX(R) VOD

Thanks for both replies.

I have been able to get as far as registering the device. I know realise that I am missing the registration video. Either it never arrived or I somehow missed it.

I presume it is set as an individual video for this device so will need to go back to DivX to see if I can get the video sent again.
